English Teacher 2026/2027

About the role

We are looking for bilingual or native English teachers who will communicate 100% in English during their hours at the academy, take care of materials, and actively collaborate with the management and academic coordination team.

Responsibilities

• Teach English lessons to students aged 1 to 16 years
• Daily follow-up of students after each lesson, including motivation, participation, behavior, and learning progress, with additional comments
• Prepare and correct reports
• Maintain strong grammatical knowledge in Spanish and attention to spelling
• Engage in student retention and brand visibility initiatives alongside the team
• Fulfill responsibilities such as class preparation, training, and punctuality

Requirements

• Academic background in Early Childhood or Primary Education, English Philology, Translation and Interpretation, PIMM, or other university studies with a PROFICIENCY or equivalent level of English
• Passion for teaching English to students aged 1 to 18
• Classroom management skills, empathy, respect, and sociability

Schedule

Generally afternoon hours, typically involving 1 hour of class preparation at the academy and 2-3 hours of teaching, ending around 19:30/20:30. Potential to expand with midday classes.

Pay

Starting with a minimum of 10 teaching hours per week, under a 12.5-hour weekly contract as a lead teacher, following the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Non-Formal Education. Monthly salary with potential for additional incentives.

Position available immediately from 24 August until 22 June 2027, following the school year, with the possibility of continuity for the next academic year.
