Duties and Responsibilities
- Support core school systems, including arrival, attendance, transitions, lunch/recess, and dismissal.
- Serve as a primary point of contact in the main office for students, staff, families, and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders. Respond to emails and phone calls within 24–48 hours and foster a welcoming, student-centered environment.
- Manage daily attendance processes, maintain accurate student records, and ensure completion of required documentation (e.g., immunizations, lunch forms).
- Support ATS tasks, data submissions, and MetroCard distribution.
- Support school events through logistics, setup, and coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational main office, including managing calls and student documentation.
- Prepare and distribute family communications, including flyers and notices. Support family engagement initiatives, including KIPP Family Association events and advocacy efforts.
- Respond to student health needs and coordinate with the school nurse as needed. Serve as a member of the Building Response Team (BRT) and support emergency response procedures.
Qualifications

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and school operations systems; computer literate.

- Proactive, and able to manage high responsibility levels.
