About the role

Glen/Ridge Elementary School seeks dedicated Part-Time ABA Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 academic year. This role supports students with autism in a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized educational plans (IEPs).
• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3 to 21 years old with diverse learning, communication, and behavioral needs.
• Capable and willing to assist students' physical needs, personal care and daily living activities, as needed.
• Able to implement strategies to support positive student behavior and foster engagement.
• Willing to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, including classroom teachers, Child Study Team, BCBA, and related service providers.
• Experience supporting students in an ABA or similar structured learning environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
• Must meet criminal background check.

Qualifications

General Education or Special Education Paraprofessional: $21,215.00 per year
ABA Non-Certified Paraprofessional: $24,455.00 per year
ABA Certified Paraprofessional: $28,257.00 per year
