About the role

Dr. M. L. Garza Gonzalez Charter School seeks a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. This position is available in Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Mentor and support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional methods.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate or ability to obtain one within six months of employment.
• At least two years of successful teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The teacher will be expected to work a standard school year schedule, including summers.
