Pay

Salary Rate: $26,443 – $41,950

Schedule

Employment Days: 195 days per year

8 hours per day (exact daily hours to be determined by supervisor)

Application Requirements

• All documents must be scanned and uploaded in APPLITRACK. Paper copies will not be accepted.
• Complete online application plus the following required documents (incomplete applications will not be reviewed):
  • Letter of Interest
  • Resume
  • Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college, **or** a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college. Official transcripts are required within two weeks of the hire date.
  • OR copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher. Applicants interested in taking the Praxis exam can visit Berkeley County School District Praxis information page for details.
  • Negative TB test results that are less than one year old. Applicants are strongly encouraged to upload TB test results. If the test has not been completed, upload a Word document acknowledging that results will be provided as soon as the test is completed. Note: delays in submitting TB results will postpone the onboarding process.
• Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2. A registration fee of $75 must be submitted at the time the test is administered.
• Depending on the volume of applications, not all applicants may be interviewed. Applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies.
