About the role

The Transformation Network seeks an Early Childhood Special Education (ES) teacher to join the team at EARL, IRA J. ES. This position is dedicated to providing educational support and resources to students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to ensure student success.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and assessment techniques.
• Understanding of special education laws and regulations.
