Responsibilities
- Teach early childhood students with special educational needs.
- Incorporate differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop comprehensive lesson plans.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE).
- At least one year of teaching experience in ECSE preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of early childhood development and special education principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
- Ability to manage classroom effectively and maintain order.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Experience with behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
