About the role

The position is for an Autism Intermediate teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year. The monthly hours are 7.18.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to students with autism spectrum disorder.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support student learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
• A valid teaching license in special education.
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for autism.
