2026-2027 - AUTISM (Primary) - ROGERS ES

Position: Autism (Primary) teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

Teach students with autism spectrum disorder in a self-contained classroom setting. Implement evidence-based practices to support student learning and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs and state standards.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and related service providers to provide comprehensive support to students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet academic and behavioral goals.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in autism education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder preferred.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
