Autism (Intermediate) teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year at Lucille S. Rogers Elementary School in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with autism in a self-contained special-education setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general-education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and document student performance and behavior.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (Autism or Generalist).
• Experience working with students with autism at the intermediate level.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for autism spectrum disorder.
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and positive behavior supports.
