About the role

Green Acres Healthcare is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our caring team. CNAs play an important role in providing comfort, care, and companionship to residents. From helping residents through their daily routines to sharing a smile or simply being there when they need you, the work you do truly matters.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating
• Take and record patient vital signs; lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management; ask appropriate questions to clarify situations
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff
• Demonstrate the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
