Job Summary

We’re immediately hiring General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Lawrence, KS. Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean.

About the Role

This position does not require a resume, a candidate's ability to follow directions and the results of the realistic job preview will determine if we consider moving forward in candidacy for a future or present full-time position. Our candidate selection process is based on specific criteria to foster a positive and efficient workforce that aligns with Leadpoint's culture.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclables according to quality and type
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed during the workday
• Stand for the entire shift

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Consent to a background check
• Consent to a drug screen
• Reliable transportation to work

Pay and Schedule

$16.50 per hour

Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
