Wood Recycling Team Member - 1st Shift

About the role

Warranty Center Team Members are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery
• Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
• Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required

Physical demands

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting
• Environment can include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 70 lbs. occasionally

Now Hiring FULL TIME And PART TIME For 1st shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) – Warranty Center: $19.25/HR Part-time or $21.05/HR (Shift Premium included)
