1st Shift Recycling Sorter, GFL, Chester, VA

Sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Chester, VA. This position helps keep our community clean and does not require a resume. Your ability to follow directions and the results of the realistic job preview will determine if we consider you for a future or present full-time position.

Pay

$14.00 an hour. Overtime is available.

Schedule

Full-time, 1st shift: 5 am – 3 pm.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclables in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors.
• Stand for your entire shift and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for your entire shift.
• Willingness to consent to a background check and drug screen (this is a drug-free workplace).
• Reliable transportation (many facilities are near a bus line; carpooling and ride sharing are encouraged).
