1st Shift - Partsrunner (Entry Level)

About the role

This is an entry-level position responsible for shop parts inventory, parts pulling and patterning for production. You will operate overhead cranes, magnet pick-ups, dollies, and/or forklifts to move heavy production parts, manually move freight or stock, and perform general labor as assigned. The role involves working in both hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts for jobs to ensure they are available for fabrication.
• Maintain a parts memo in cases where parts are missing or wrong for a job.
• Palletize parts, stage material, and mark with identifying information.
• Ensure all inventory parts are cut for a job prior to the job start.
• Use a tape measure for measurements.
• Move materials to and from storage or production areas, by hand or using overhead cranes, forklifts, magnets, or other equipment.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure inventory is protected.
