1st Shift- Harvest Room Labor- Eufaula Fresh Plant

About the role

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for openings in the harvest room department.

Responsibilities

• Processing live chickens to maintain a full production line
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Working in cold, damp, hot, dusty, and humid environments with wet, slippery surfaces
• Completing required training
• Performing the duties of the position

Requirements

• Must be able to complete required training
• Must be able to perform the physical duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.)
• Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines
• Will be trained to recognize and comply with all Safety procedures
• Applicant may not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl species while employed by Tyson
• No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry

Working conditions

The jobsite is a biosecure environment which may require showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. Work involves cold, damp, hot, dusty, and humid environments with wet, slippery surfaces.

Schedule & shift

1st Shift. 365-day rehire waiting period; 3-time maximum rehire rule. Relocation assistance not eligible.
