1st Shift General Labor - Shipping (Starting Pay $15.81)

About the Role

A successful Shipping employee will safely and timely assist the team with preparing orders for delivery to vendors and customers. They will also support and help the dock and other labor teams throughout the division as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a team environment to meet daily goals
• Be punctual and timely
• Load and unload product onto the trailers
• Be a safety advocate at all times
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Reliable team player
• Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language
• Ability to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens
• Long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis
• Ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including driving switcher trucks
• Ability to consistently lift up to 30 pounds unassisted

Job Setting & Physical Demands

This position is primarily outdoors but may require working between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may include the use of computers and standard office equipment.
