1st shift FSQA Technician

Job Summary

Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking a 1st shift FSQA Technician for Elk Grove Village, IL. The position involves testing and inspecting products to ensure they adhere to established quality standards and meet regulatory compliance.

What You Are Going To Be Doing

• Test and inspect product at various stages of production – including dimensions, weight, temperature, and performance.
• Lead vendor chemical management, SSOP compliance, and team training.
• Analyze food safety KPIs and co-develop trend reports with the QA Manager.
• Manage environmental monitoring test schedules, collaborate with production schedulers for related finished product testing – assign testing to appropriate FSQA Technicians.
• Conduct on-line inspection and process control limits.
• Compile and evaluate data to maintain quality and reliability of products.
• Understand and enforce principles of HACCP, GMP, and GDK Foods quality standards.

Requirements

• Associates degree: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related life science preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing environment in a QA/QC role.
• Knowledge of trend analysis preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and flexibility in work hours (24-hour operation).
• Variety of temperature environments (hot & cold environments).

Skills

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and GDK Foods quality standards. Proficiency in trend analysis and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are also essential.

Schedule

This is a 1st shift position, working from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Pay

The target pay rate for this position is $20.00/hour.
