Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Affix Duraplate sheets according to Wabash and ISO standards.
- Report defects and repair needs to production and maintenance leadership.
- Adhere to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work from various heights to ensure the line operates smoothly.
- Operate in adverse climate conditions, including hot, cold, dark, loud, and small spaces.
- Use equipment such as Walk Behind, Hoist, SAP program, Push/Pull systems, Harness/Fall Protection, Crane, Torque wrenches, Large and small hand tools.
- Follow Wabash Values and Leadership Principles.
- Flexible work schedule as needed by the production team.
- Complete assigned duties following safety policies and practices.
- Exercise independent judgment when performing responsibilities.
- Ensure work quality meets or exceeds Wabash and ISO standards.
- Eliminate the "shift versus shift" mentality and share information with others.
- Perform strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting and pushing.
Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.
- General computer skills (Excel and Word).
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to read and use calipers and gauging equipment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions/Environment
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
- Exposure to extreme conditions at job sites, including high temperatures and loud noise.
- Must wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
