1st shift, DuraPlate Operator, LNPB3 12HR DuraPlate Ext-Red

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Affix Duraplate sheets according to Wabash and ISO standards.
• Report defects and repair needs to production and maintenance leadership.
• Adhere to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work from various heights to ensure the line operates smoothly.
• Operate in adverse climate conditions, including hot, cold, dark, loud, and small spaces.
• Use equipment such as Walk Behind, Hoist, SAP program, Push/Pull systems, Harness/Fall Protection, Crane, Torque wrenches, Large and small hand tools.
• Follow Wabash Values and Leadership Principles.
• Flexible work schedule as needed by the production team.
• Complete assigned duties following safety policies and practices.
• Exercise independent judgment when performing responsibilities.
• Ensure work quality meets or exceeds Wabash and ISO standards.
• Eliminate the "shift versus shift" mentality and share information with others.
• Perform strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting and pushing.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.
• General computer skills (Excel and Word).
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to read and use calipers and gauging equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions/Environment

• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
