3rd shift, DuraPlate Operator, 12HR DuraPlate Ext-Red Nights

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Affix Duraplate sheets according to Wabash and ISO standards.
• Report defects and repair needs to production and maintenance leadership.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work from various heights to ensure the line is running properly.
• Operate in adverse climate conditions.
• Work in small spaces, kneeling or bending for extended periods.
• Use Walk Behind, Hoist, SAP program, Push/Pull systems, Harness/Fall Protection, Crane, Torque wrenches, Large and small hand tools.
• Adhere to Wabash Values and Leadership Principles.
• Flexible work schedule to meet production team needs.
• Follow safety policies and practices.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• Basic reading/writing and verbal skills.
• General computer skills (Excel and Word).
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to read and use calipers and gauging equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to exercise independent judgment.
• Able to work independently and collectively.
• Able to resolve conflicting priorities and complete tasks on time.
• Able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
