Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Affix Duraplate sheets according to Wabash and ISO standards.
- Report defects and repair needs to production and maintenance leadership.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work from various heights to ensure the line is running properly.
- Operate in adverse climate conditions.
- Work in small spaces, kneeling or bending for extended periods.
- Use Walk Behind, Hoist, SAP program, Push/Pull systems, Harness/Fall Protection, Crane, Torque wrenches, Large and small hand tools.
- Adhere to Wabash Values and Leadership Principles.
- Flexible work schedule to meet production team needs.
- Follow safety policies and practices.
Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent.
- Basic reading/writing and verbal skills.
- General computer skills (Excel and Word).
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to read and use calipers and gauging equipment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to exercise independent judgment.
- Able to work independently and collectively.
- Able to resolve conflicting priorities and complete tasks on time.
- Able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
