Anesthesiologist - Cardiac
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical cases including cardiac, trauma, OB, orthopedics, and more.
- Participate in an anesthesia care team of 34 physicians and 99 anesthetists.
- Manage in-house call schedule of 2-3 times per month with a post-call day off.
- Benefit eligibility begins on start date with no waiting period.
- Receive a generous CME program and assistance with Florida licensure.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
- Current Florida medical license.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology.
- Experience with cardiac anesthesia preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced surgical techniques and protocols.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is a 288-bed acute-care facility in Tallahassee, Florida, serving the Big Bend community since 1979. It offers a comprehensive range of services with a strong emphasis on surgical care, including advanced surgical services, orthopedic and spine procedures, and specialized surgical interventions. The hospital also features 24/7 emergency care, a Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center with PCI-Resuscitation, Heart & Vascular Center, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
