Responsibilities

• Aids in the operation of the pharmacy, focusing on exceptional customer service and prescription processing efficiency.
• Maintains patient care by monitoring therapeutic outcomes and minimizing adverse drug effects.
• Consults patients professionally to ensure they understand drug therapy plans and outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Communicates openly with store staff and pharmacy department to enhance team dynamics and support company goals.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree (B.S. or PharmD).
• Licensed pharmacist in the state where working.
• Knowledge of laws governing OTC drugs, pharmacy products, and third-party plans.
• Understanding of pharmacy policy and procedure procedures.
• High degree of initiative and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage work under strict time constraints.
• Excellent customer relations skills, including meeting customer needs and maintaining a positive service environment.
• Solid business ethics.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including building relationships and resolving conflicts.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• The ability to interact with customers and employees.
• Ability to work various schedules to meet store and customer demands.

Qualifications

• State-issued license for pharmacist in the state where working.
• Immunization Certificate required.
