Responsibilities
- Aids in the operation of the pharmacy, focusing on exceptional customer service and prescription processing efficiency.
- Maintains patient care by monitoring therapeutic outcomes and minimizing adverse drug effects.
- Consults patients professionally to ensure they understand their drug therapy plans and outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Communicates openly with store staff and pharmacy department to enhance team morale, awareness of company programs, and support of objectives.
Requirements
- Pharmacy degree (B.S. or PharmD).
- Licensed pharmacist in the state where working.
- Knowledge of laws governing OTC drugs, pharmacy products, and third-party plans.
- Understanding of pharmacy policy and procedure procedures.
- High initiative and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently within strict timeframes.
- Excellent customer relations skills, including meeting customer needs and maintaining an exceptional service environment.
- Solid business ethics.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships and resolving conflicts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
