About the role

This open position is in a highly behavioral residential home setting. We are seeking candidates with experience working with behavioral individuals.

Responsibilities

• Advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can.
• Supporting tasks such as household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc...
• Aiding in medical appointments, banking, community involvement, outings, medication administration, following Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
• Safely evacuating individuals from the home in the event of an emergency.
• Maintaining certifications, adhering to agency policies, and following DDS regulations/policies.

• Variety of interests and personal connections in the local community.
• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer, or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow and implement Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to perform basic household maintenance tasks.

Pay

Salary: $17.50-$19 (Paid Training!)
