Responsibilities
- The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can.
- Support needs include household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
- Assist individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and follow medical guidelines.
- Participate in paid New Employee Orientation, paid CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP), plus program‑ and person‑specific training at the individual’s home.
- Ability to safely evacuate individuals from the home in an emergency.
- Maintain certifications, comply with Agency policies, and follow all DDS regulations/policies.

Requirements
- Age 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double‑shifts.

Pay
$17.50–$19.00 per hour. Paid training provided by Venture.
Schedule
Thursday 11 p.m.–9 a.m., Friday 11 p.m.–9 a.m., Saturday 11 p.m.–9 a.m. (Full‑time
