1-20- Business Analyst - Medicaid

About the role

This position is 12 months, with the option of extension, and is located in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, mine, and document business rules, processes.
• Obtain business processes and requirements information through interviews and legal, regulatory, and policy documents.
• Develop process flow diagrams, flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and other graphical aids to document workflows and processes.
• Write requirements and Use Cases.
• Communicate effectively with executive management, line management, project management, and team members.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
• 5 years’ experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules, processes.
• 3 years Medicaid or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
• Equivalent experience in business/systems analysis and/or computer systems development/modification may be substituted.
• Knowledge of formal business process documentation.
• Understanding of business modeling techniques, including the use of graphical process flow software.
• Experience and ability to obtain business processes and requirements information by interviewing business personnel and by mining laws, regulations, and policy documents.
• Ability to effectively communicate to executive management, line management, project management, and team members.

Skills

• Superb written and oral communications skills.
• Experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
• Experience in Medicaid or healthcare projects.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Project/Project Server.
