1:1 Weekend Pediatric Nurse (RN) - Hopewell Junction, NY (1078)

About the role

• 1:1 Nursing in a patient's home (a well-trained and friendly Labrador is in the home)
• Care for a friendly 9-year-old female with developmental delay, gastrostomy, non-ambulatory status, non-verbal communication, oxygen dependency, seizure activity, tracheostomy, and ventilator support
• Part-time scheduling (full-time or per diem cases also available)
• Patient-specific training provided
• Other cases/shifts available in surrounding areas
• Work with a friendly and communicative family

Schedule

• Weekends: Saturday & Sunday
• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (hours flexible)

Requirements

• Some experience with tracheostomy and ventilator required
• NYS Nursing licensure required
• Must be computer literate
• Completion of onboarding required prior to training
• Must be able to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed
• Must have malpractice insurance

Pay

$45/hr
