About the role
1:1 Nursing in a patient’s home. The patient is a friendly 9-year-old female with developmental delay, gastrostomy, non-ambulatory status, non-verbal communication, oxygen dependence, seizure activity, tracheostomy, and ventilator use. A well-trained and friendly Labrador is also in the home.
Part-time scheduling with options for full-time or per diem cases. Patient-specific training is provided. Additional cases and shifts are available in surrounding areas.
Friendly and communicative family to work with.
Schedule
- Weekday Nights and Overnights, Monday–Friday:
- 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing notes within 24 hours of shift completion.
Requirements
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator required.
- Active NYS Nursing licensure.
- Computer literacy.
- Completion of onboarding prior to training.
- Malpractice insurance.
Pay
$45 per hour.
