1:1 Weekend Pediatric Nurse (LPN) - Hopewell Junction, NY (1078)

About the role

1:1 Nursing in a patient's home. The patient is a friendly 9-year-old female with developmental delay, gastrostomy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal, oxygen needs, seizure activity, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependence. A well-trained and friendly Labrador is also in the home.

Patient-specific training is provided. Other cases and shifts are available in surrounding areas—contact us for more information. You’ll work with a friendly and communicative family.

Schedule

• Part-time scheduling (full-time or per diem cases also available).
• Available weekend shifts (hours flexible):
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Requirements

• Some experience with tracheostomy and ventilator required.
• NYS Nursing licensure required.
• Must be computer literate.
• Completion of onboarding required prior to training.
• Must be able to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed.
• Must have malpractice insurance.

Pay

$35/hr
