About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit new hires, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.
30% Operations: Manage store processes, ensure compliance with company policies, and handle inventory and payroll.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
