01762 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, ensuring optimal customer experiences, effective store operations, and maintaining brand standards. They also support the achievement of key performance indicators and financial targets.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals and activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit and manage associates, addressing strengths and opportunities.
30% Operations: Execute company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure compliance with company directives and policies.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
