01564 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in various areas including brand, people, and operations. They also take full responsibility when the Store Manager is not present.
Responsibilities
Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and hire associates, coach and counsel team members, and maintain positive relationships with peers and managers.
Operations: Manage store processes, ensure compliance with company policies, and execute digital strategies. Handle inventory, payroll, and store operations.
Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, enforce policies, and protect company assets.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
