Responsibilities

• Coordinates with internal and external partners, including the FBI, DHS, FEMA, TDEM, and others, to conduct assessments and support homeland security and critical infrastructure preparedness efforts.
• Serves as a duty officer to ensure continuous support and operational readiness.
• Serves in the EOC (Emergency Operation Center) or designated location during times of disaster or emergency.
• Manages emergency management programs and projects, operations, planning, and infrastructure.
• Tracks budgets and funding related to assigned efforts to ensure proper documentation and program accountability.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Emergency Management, Planning, Business/Public Administration, or in a job-related field of study.
• Three (3) years of professional work-related experience in emergency management, public administration, emergency response, or in a job-related field, to include professional training experience.
