Zone Maintenance Technician PRN

About the role

This is a journeyman level position in the maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities during peak and non-peak hours at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Uses power and hand tools to perform corrective maintenance and repairs within specific zone assignments.
• Maintains buildings and facilities according to instructions and established trade practices.
• Performs occasional monitoring or supervision when new assignments are given.
• All work assignments originate from the Hospital Help Desk, FSC, Maintenance Manager, or Supervisor and are subject to supervision and inspection.
• Considered essential personnel in a disaster situation.

• 3 years of experience.
