About the role
We are looking for a Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) who is responsible for one of the leading Electronics & Home Appliances company's and Network Cable (Optical Fiber) company sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing sales, distributor & sales team follow-up related activities.
- Managing the team of distribution & retail associates, interfacing with customers, and contributing to the overall success of the sales management.
- Playing a pivotal role in managing the team of distribution & retail associates, interfacing with customers, and contributing to the overall success of the sales management.
- Participating in decisions for expansion or acquisition.
- Suggesting new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
- Being good and friendly with SKU wise target vs achievement.
- Helping SO and TSM for creating new dealer/distributor and maintaining good relationship with them and demand generation.
- Setting and achieving yearly sales targets across the product line (Using sales KPI).
- Implementing national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintaining sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
- Planning for ensuring achievement of regional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
- Meting with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
- Developing, maintaining and executing a territory plan with the help of Sales Head.
- Conducting review meetings to monitor progress and take corrective actions as required.
- Directing sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Generating monthly reports for presenting to Sales Head which highlights: Target vs Achieved Sales, Reasons for Shortfall (if applicable).
