Zip Line Facilitator

Position Summary

The Zip Line Facilitator supports the safe and exciting operation of Camp Bashor's high-adventure zip line as part of the camp's COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) program. This position focuses on participant safety, equipment management, and delivering a positive adventure experience consistent with Scouting America's National Camp Standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure participant safety during zip line operations.
• Manage zip line equipment to maintain optimal condition.
• Deliver a positive and engaging adventure experience for participants.
• Comply with Scouting America's National Camp Standards.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
• COP/COPE Instructor Training(s):
• Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) - Certified Challenge Course Manager, Practitioner Certification Level 1, 2, or higher.
• First Aid / CPR / AED Certification - required (current within 12 months).
• Belay and Rescue Techniques Training - preferred but training available.
• Physical Demands:
• This position requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions as well as dust, pollen, plant life, insects, and wildlife.
