ZEELAND CAMPUS LIFE DIRECTOR
About the role
The Zeeland Campus Life Director is responsible for leading and implementing relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model. They will also oversee fundraising efforts and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Direct Ministry with Students - 60%
- Weekly practice of the Campus Life relational ministry actions (RMAs): Contacting, Building Times, Appointments, Small Groups, Core, and Club
- Participation in strategic trips and events related to Campus Life
- Training, meeting with, and recruiting adult volunteers, as well as participants in community support and prayer teams
Ministry Development - 20%
- Strategically plan and implement specific RMAs (Relational Ministry Actions)
- Foster a strong, collaborative partnership with area churches and ministries
- Establish and develop programming materials and train ministry leaders in the implementation of curriculum and programming materials
Fundraising - 5%
- Nurturing personal support via your network
- Communication with donors - thank you notes, monthly letters, etc.
- Participates in WMYFC’s “See the Story” and “Be the Story” process
Administrative Tasks - 10%
- Ministry and financial reports (weekly ministry reports, etc.)
- Preparation for meetings, events, clubs, etc.
Personal Development - 5%
- Participate in annual Employee Performance Evaluation
- Trainings and individual investments (regular supervisory connection)
