About the role
We are a community-based organization providing individual/family therapy and community support to youth and families facing challenges like poverty, mental illness, legal issues, trauma, and addiction.
Responsibilities
- Provide community-based/in-home supports to youth and families
- Offer encouragement, coaching, and modeling to learn new skills and make connections to positive people, places, and activities
- Work in the community where neighbors live, work, learn, and play
- Build trusting, mentoring relationships with participants from the same community and sharing similar backgrounds
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university and college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services/behavioral health/youth work
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Motivated to work with youth ages 5-18, experience with human services/behavioral health/youth work
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance

Pay
- Bachelor's Pay Rate: $20/hour
- Master's Pay Rate: $25/hour
