About the role

Join the ND Department of Health & Human Services as a Behavioral Health Therapist – Youth. Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. Essential client services require travel to meet clients at their location.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assessments and service plans
  • Organize, direct, and guide care provided by other team members
  • Ongoing monitoring and updating of service recommendations
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community, and periodically on-call (if needed)
  • Provide education and consultation to families, community, interns, and residents

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
  • ND licensure as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist
  • Valid driver's license

Qualifications

  • Master’s degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy with licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
  • Doctorate in Psychology with licensure as psychologist
  • LPC licensure with eligibility for LMFT licensure
  • LMSW licensure
  • LPC licensure
