Schedule
- Summer Leagues: Saturdays from 6/27/26 to 8/15/26 (must be available Saturdays)
- Approximate hours: 7:30 AM – 4:45 PM (final schedule TBD)
- Fall Leagues: Sundays from 8/30/26 to 10/18/26 (must be available Sundays)
- Approximate hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (final schedule TBD)
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation
- Background in sports or customer service is a plus
- Must be reliable and available for the full duration of the season
- Must opt-in to texting for communication
About the Role
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. This role involves building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting coaches is a key part of the position, along with hands-on involvement in practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.
Responsibilities
- Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
- Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and solve problems
- Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
- Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
