Youth Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots is looking for a passionate part-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2-8. Ideal candidates should reside in the Greater St Louis area, be able to coach for at least two seasons, successfully pass a child abuse history clearance and background check, and be ready to start training within 14 days of an interview.

Responsibilities

• Coach 2–8 year old's using our curriculum
• Arrive on time
• Set up & break down sessions
• Encourage confidence and character
• Communicate with families and teachers
• Follow safety and attendance protocols

Requirements

• Must already reside in the Greater St Louis area
• Must be able to coach a minimum of two seasons (5 months)
• Successfully pass a child abuse history clearance and background check
• Able to travel to various locations including Wentzville/O'Fallon; St. Charles; Creve Coeur; Ballwin; Oakville, etc.
• Ready to start training within 14 days of interview

Qualifications

• Energetic, reliable, and organized
• Valid driver's license + access to a car
• Active mobile phone with data plan
• Able to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Applicant minimum age for school-based locations is 18
