Qualifications
- An enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated individual
- Bachelor’s or higher degree
- Experience developing and executing community/arts/rec programs; knowledge of our specific market is a plus
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, attention to detail, ability to create and adhere to timelines
- Proficient in Google Suite
Responsibilities
- Program Development & Execution
- Assist the director in strategy development, content planning, and marketing plans
- Identify topics of interest for K-12 students
- Recruit qualified instructors/vendors and collaborate on course content and logistics
- Schedule classes across 9 schools and work with ACE staff on logistical support, including room assignments and equipment resources
- Supervise/monitor programs at schools and be on call while classes are in session
- Develop positive working relationships with school principals, staff, and after-school programs
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from instructors, school staff, and the public
- Help with student behavior management and be comfortable speaking with parents
- Manage day-to-day operations for VacationFun programs (February and April)
- Aid in catalog development, including writing and proofreading
- Work closely with the marketing coordinator to promote programming
- Evaluate data such as enrollments, evaluations, and financials to determine future programs
Terms of Employment
- Full Year, Full-Time (1.0 FTE, 35 hours per week)
- Some evening and weekend hours as necessary
Pay & Benefits
- $68,000 - $72,000
- Compensation: This position is eligible for health and other insurance and town retirement; sick, personal, and vacation days are earned proportionate to hours worked.
