Responsibilities

  • Coaching Guides to reliably deliver outstanding student experiences while upholding Alpha's rigorous standards.
  • Facilitating dynamic life skills workshops that build communication, leadership, focus, and other essential competencies for K-12 students.
  • Inspiring students to pursue ambitious learning objectives and maximize their progress within self-directed academic programs.
  • Leveraging data, direct observation, and coaching dialogues to enhance Guide performance and student results.
  • Supporting the launch and establishment of new Alpha campuses by fostering a culture rooted in excellence, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • Basic Requirements:
    • Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation support available).
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
    • Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people.
    • Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
    • Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
    • Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Nice-to-have Requirements:
    • Experience coaching youth through athletics, debate, camps, or extracurricular programs.
    • Exceptional public speaking and storytelling skills.
    • A track record of achieving high levels of academic, professional, or athletic performance.
    • Experience motivating teams through ambitious goals while maintaining high accountability.
    • A passion for challenging conventional education and helping shape a new model for K-12 learning.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation support available): Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; Santa Barbara, CABachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
  • Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people.
  • Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
