Youth Group Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the daily living program within each cottage.
• Train and supervise Youth Care Workers within your cottage.
• Create a supportive environment that meets the needs of the youth.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the achievement of each youth's treatment plan.
• Perform standard level paraprofessional work across all aspects of the program operations.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• A bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology and two years of professional experience working with children, or
• A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years professional experience working with children, or
• A combination of education and experience working with children as approved by the department
• One-year experience in a psychiatric residential treatment facility
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test

Qualifications

• Experience in a residential facility for children

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
• Knowledge of child development and mental health

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, varied shifts based on operational need
• Rotating on-call shifts with a bonus

Pay

Salary based on education, experience, and qualifications, starting at $58,240 per year.
