Youth Entrepreneurship Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing 1:1 coaching to student founders on strategic direction, execution priorities, and growth challenges — approximately two-thirds of your working hours
• Leveraging dashboards, venture updates, and academic performance data to assess progress and establish clear next steps
• Tracking academic results and proactively addressing issues related to attention or time allocation
• Designing and delivering workshops that emphasize practical skill application
• Facilitating stand-up meetings, debrief sessions, and group conversations that maintain student commitment to their objectives

Basic Requirements

• Able to work on-site at Alpha High School in Austin, TX (relocation assistance provided)
• Minimum 2 years of experience coaching or developing others (direct reports, colleagues, or clients) with a concrete example of a coaching engagement and its measurable results
• Professional background with accountability for critical outcomes or performance indicators, including at least one example showing $500,000+ in annual revenue impact
• Minimum 1 year working with youth (students, junior professionals, or youth program participants) on initiatives, educational objectives, or entrepreneurial endeavors
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Personal experience founding, co-founding, or running a startup or emerging business
• Background as a Chief of Staff, program director, or high-impact individual contributor with full ownership of outcomes
• Proficiency with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance coaching preparation, data analysis, or stakeholder communication
• Experience in K-12 education, EdTech, or initiatives that integrate academics with practical application (accelerators, project-based curricula, entrepreneurship education)

Working with us

• This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position
• The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record
• The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year
• The payment period is weekly
