Youth Development Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD
What You Will Be Doing
- Carry out 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions to transform student objectives into reliable execution and measurable outcomes.
- Leverage analytics and student objectives to pinpoint obstacles and design ambitious, personalized motivation strategies.
- Facilitate rigorous life-skills workshops through storytelling, guided reflection, and practical application, culminating in mastery evaluations.
- Lead morning sessions to set the tone, uphold high standards, and prepare students for the day ahead.
- Maintain strong mentor relationships with students and their families by consistently upholding high standards and making sound judgments.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Deliver traditional classroom instruction, lectures, or academic tutoring.
- Develop curriculum, prepare lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments.
- Supervise adult staff, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership responsibilities.
- Lower standards to meet short-term compliance or superficial progress.

This role is dedicated to ensuring that students at Alpha's most demanding campuses stay highly motivated and achieve sustained growth and life-skill mastery through elite, high-standard coaching.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least one clear elite marker (athletics, academics, career achievement, or elite coaching).
- Experience in people-facing mentoring, coaching, or leadership that measurably raised others' performance.
- Comfort operating in high-accountability environments with clear standards and follow-through.
- Ability to lead engaging, high-rigor group sessions and coach individuals with strong judgment.
- Willingness to work full-time (40 hours/week) in person at Alpha's Austin campus.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Multiple elite markers with clear evidence of raising standards and outcomes.
- Experience using data and analytics to drive coaching plans and accountability.
- Background in selective firms, competitive startups, or elite athletics programs with intense performance expectations.

Working with Us
- This is a full-time (40 hours per week) long-term position.
- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
- The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
- The payment period is weekly.
