Youth Director

Bethany Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida is seeking a paid Part Time Youth Director.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the youth ministry programs at Bethany Baptist Church. This includes planning and implementing youth activities, building relationships with youth members, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages spiritual growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement youth activities and events
• Build and maintain positive relationships with youth members and their families
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for spiritual growth
• Collaborate with other church staff to enhance the overall youth experience
• Support the pastor in overseeing the youth ministry

Requirements

• A strong background in youth ministry or related field
• Experience working with youth and families
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for Christian faith and youth ministry

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial

Pay

The salary for this position is $15 per hour.

Schedule
