Youth Director

About the role

The Youth Director is responsible for providing spiritual leadership and oversight for a Christ-centered ministry serving students in grades 6–12, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become active participants in the life of the church. This full-time role develops and leads biblically grounded teaching, discipleship, outreach, and fellowship opportunities consistent with Southern Baptist doctrine and values.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with students and families
• Recruit and equip volunteers
• Coordinate youth events and mission opportunities
• Manage ministry communications and administration
• Work collaboratively with church staff and leadership

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a strong personal faith
• Commitment to Southern Baptist beliefs
• Experience in youth ministry
• Leadership, relational, and organizational skills necessary to effectively disciple and mentor young people

Pay

$40,000 – $50,000 (Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and overall fit)
