Youth Development Specialist I (Spalding Clubhouse)
Position Overview
The Youth Development Specialist I supports the daily implementation of youth programs and activities focused on academic enrichment, recreation, healthy lifestyles, and positive youth development for members ages 6–17. This position plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive Clubhouse environment where youth feel supported and encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily youth programming and enrichment activities
- Build positive relationships with youth and serve as a positive role model
- Aid in educational, recreational, sports, and healthy lifestyle activities
- Encourage participation and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Reinforce positive behaviors and respectful decision-making
- Support daily operations, program setup, and member engagement
- Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality youth programming
