Six (6) months’ experience as Youth Development Team Leader. Other Qualifications: At least twenty-one (21) years of age; Must have a valid Driver's License; Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing; Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors. - Schedule: Full-Time • Monday-Friday, year-round • 8-hour shifts
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed; Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
We need sections: About the role (maybe a brief description), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (maybe qualifications?), Qualifications (maybe education/experience?), Skills (maybe traits?), Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We must not create sections with filler. Ensure each has substantive content.
We need to decide mapping:
- About the role: Could be the introductory paragraph about making impact, mission, etc. That is substantive.
- Responsibilities: The "What You’ll Do" and list of duties.
- Requirements: Could be the "Who We’re Looking For" traits? Or maybe "Qualifications" separate. But we have both Requirements and Qualifications sections allowed. We need to decide what goes where. Usually Requirements = mandatory qualifications (education, experience, age, license, background check). Qualifications could be preferred or additional? But we have both; we can split: Requirements = mandatory (education, experience, age, driver's license, background check, physical exam, computer ability). Qualifications = maybe the traits (compassionate, dependable, etc.)? Or we could treat Skills as traits. Let's think.
We have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to avoid duplication. Let's assign:
- About the role: Intro paragraph about mission, impact, why join, etc. Could combine "Looking for More Than Just a Job?" and "About Abraxas Youth and Family Services" and "Why Join Our Team?" but we must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. We'll keep substantive mission statements.
- Responsibilities: Duties list from "What You’ll Do" and bullet list.
- Requirements: Mandatory qualifications: Education and Experience Required (HS diploma/GED, detention unit employees need associate's degree or 60 credit hours, 6 months experience as Youth Development Team Leader), age 21+, valid driver's license, physical exam (TB/drug), background checks, ability to work with computers.
- Qualifications: Could be the "Other Qualifications" maybe? But we already used those. Actually "Other Qualifications" includes age, license, background, etc. That's more requirements. Hmm.
Maybe we treat Requirements as the education/experience, and Qualifications as the other qualifications (age, license, background, physical, computer ability). Then Skills as the personal traits (compassionate, dependable, etc.). Benefits as benefits list. Pay as pay rate. Schedule as schedule.
Let's check if we have content for each:
- About the role: We have paragraphs: "Looking for More Than Just a Job? At Abraxas Youth and Family Services we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful, fulfilling, and independent life. We’re seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are looking for more than a paycheck. We’re looking for individuals who want to make a difference, build rewarding careers, and become part of a team committed to helping others succeed. Whether you’re beginning your career, changing professions, or bringing years of experience, we provide the training, support, and opportunities needed to help you thrive." Also "About Abraxas Youth and Family Services For more than 53 years, Abraxas Youth and Family Services has been dedicated to improving lives through high-quality services and support. Our employees play a vital role in helping individuals achieve greater independence, confidence, and success while promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and personal choice. Every day, our team members make a meaningful impact by supporting people in reaching their goals and living their best lives." That's substantive.
- Responsibilities: The "What You’ll Do" paragraph and bullet list of duties.
- Requirements: Education and Experience Required: HS diploma/GED; Detention unit employees must have an associate’s degree or sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited college or university. Six (6) months’ experience as Youth Development Team Leader.
- Qualifications: Other Qualifications: At least twenty-one (21) years of age; Must have a valid Driver's License; Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing; Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors. Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
- Skills: Personal traits: Compassionate, Dependable, Patient, Team-Oriented, Service-Focused, Professional, Positive, Committed to Helping Others.
- Benefits: List from Competitive Pay & Benefits: Competitive Compensation; DailyPay – Access Your Earned Wages Before Payday; Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Available after 30 days of employment; 401(k) Retirement Plan; Paid Time Off; Employee Assistance Program; Wellness Programs; Employee Referral Bonuses; Company-Paid Training. Also Career Growth & Development list could be considered benefits? But we already have Benefits section; we could include Career Growth & Development as part of Benefits or maybe as separate but we only have Benefits heading. We could incorporate both under Benefits. However we must not create sections with filler; we can include all those bullet points under Benefits.
- Pay: $22.00/hour; DailyPay Available.
- Schedule: Full-Time • Monday-Friday, year-round • 8-hour shifts.
We also have Physical Requirements but we could maybe include under Requirements or Qualifiers? But we have no separate section for Physical Requirements; we could fold into Qualifications (maybe as part of Other Qualifications). Already we have ability to work with computers; physical requirements could be added there. But we already have Other Qualifications includes ability to work with computers; we could add physical requirements there. However the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we can keep Qualifications as is, maybe add physical requirements there.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, scam warning, navigation, cookie, legal, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Join Us in Building Better Futures! Apply Today!" etc. Also remove "Some jobs pay the bills..." etc. Also remove "About Our Organization" duplicate maybe.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no or , no markdown fences.
